About The Unchained Pharmacist

I’m Sheriden Franks, PharmD, CPC — also known as The Unchained Pharmacist™. I started this movement because I saw two groups of people suffering: Patients, who walk into healthcare confused, overwhelmed, not sure who to trust... and pharmacists, who are burned out, underpaid, overworked, and treated as if their training & compassion do not matter. Both sides are chained. Both sides are hurting. Both sides need real care and clarity again. And God made it clear that something has to change.

The Reality We're Facing

Healthcare today is unaffordable, unsustainable, and unfair — for the people receiving care and the people providing it.

Patients are overwhelmed by:

Pharmacists & pharmacy staff are overwhelmed by:

  • retail abuse and disrespect

  • being understaffed and underpaid

Corporate pharmacy has created conditions that are unsafe, unkind, and unsustainable.

 

Some pharmacists are leaving the profession.
Some are grieving what it used to be.
Many feel trapped.

The Unchained Mission

To break the chains holding people back — by making healthcare clearer, medications more affordable, purpose more accessible, and care more human.
